This is cool!
Is Area? 5 still going to produce content for EGMi?
any updates on the? android version?
Episode? 2 has downloaded but is just a blank white screen. When i rotate to landscape it shows a correct looking ‘sorry no galleries’ blurb, and rotating back to portrait goes back to a white screen.
Are you aware of this issue? I have 16gb wifi ipad1 and am in the uk. 1star review till it gets fixed.
Ordered the new iPad yesterday, so this new project of yours suits me perfectly ^_^
Good luck? with the mag! Best of wishes from Norway
@hecklerhouse Two problems with your reasoning: One, Android is a fragmented OS with too many phones and other products that are unable to update and run the same programs? as other products running Android. It’s a mess, and many developers have commented on how big a problem this is.
And two, as many many developers have stated on numerous occasions, most Android owners do not pay for downloads. This makes it tough to sell apps on Android. Unless it’s free, Android users can’t be bothered.
Man, that looks REALLY cool. Downloading? it now.
Now I really want an iPad again. This Christmas, maybe? Sorry, I? can’t afford anything fancy right now.
Awsome!!?
@ehtfrail Information can be found all over the place, but that does not mean all of it is good. With Area5, you know what you can expect from coverage and, if that is important to you, then it is worth? the $1 per month.
sensational app, really enjoyed the first issue and cannot wait till the next one.?
Any chance getting a version of this for regular-ass personal computers? Sorry, I don’t live in the bay area. I’ve? seen a grand total of one iPad in my entire life and it was being carted around like a trophy by some hipster doofus that I imagine had an Apple logo tattooed on his ass.
Also I think? the name is pretty good. It looks really good written out.
@hecklerhouse The Android platform is less stable than the iPad’s, as there are too many devices with different screen ratios and completely different experiences. This makes it almost impossible to develop a decent app for those devices, unless they specifically target something like the Motorola tablet, which hasn’t sold that well anyway. Not saying? Android is bad, just not enough people own the one or two decent tablets available for it.
Oh but of? course………….
You guys are f*kin up…Android has the biggest install base and yet you neglect us… make the? mag for android and I will buy!!
I am happy you have a new video but unhappy that the zine is iPad only. Long time fan wanting the mag on the iPhone.? It goes more places that the iPad. In conclusion all I gotta say is Come on come on bring the iPhone version.
I’m happy that the Area5 team is back because? you can see they love unknown little games as much as blockbusters. They talked about Super Meat Boy one year before everyone else..
They made me discover a lot of indies AND San Francisco lanscapes!
@EychEss21 16 thats why i said nearly. Apparently my dad is? getting one from his work anyways
I wish I? had a Ipad just for this!
Getting an ipad this weekend, this will be the first? thing I buy
I think the name is super cheesy, but this makes me want an iPad sooo? badly. Area5 content is pure gold.
Because of this I? will be purchasing an iPad. I can’t wait to give you guys money!
@cRIPticon I? think he is sort of right about it, just gaming news can be found all over the internet for free. This digital magazine is going to need something to make people actually want to get it or it won’t do very well… I hope for Area5′s sake that it is successful for them.
@martinrking Nothing silly about actually paying for QUALITY information? coverage.
@TheJFRESHH Instead of paying 600? dollars to give a dollar to Area 5, why not just donate 50 bucks directly to them? Much better way of supporting them while not paying half a grand. Dude you’re 12.
