It’s actually brand new this year. They were going after that leappad / innotab? market for real little ones. The only thing about it is (as you can see in the video), its pretty dark and noisy.
Oh i see, the pictures are painted on a moving background thing, I? see now what you mean by ‘traditional toy’, it’s kind of interesting, when was this developed?
@thetoyspy Thank you! I can’t wait? to see and share your comparison!
@TheCoCoMartha
And? to close out a few more thoughts. I think 2-3 is the right age for this. As you creep closer to the 4 year old age, it’s going to start to show the limitations when you stack it up against an InnoTab / LeapPad.
Also, I’ll be using this in my big “versus” showdown video that will show my thoughts on them all. Just editing it together!
@TheCoCoMartha
You’re? very welcome
Sorry for making it harder! Heh.
For me, personally, this is something for a child that ISN’T familiar with the iPad, ironically despite the name, but, wants an iPad like experience.
What I mean by that is, as I said (too many times?) in the video is that it’s an old toy made to interact like an iPad. But, if you have iPad / iDevice experience, it’s… not. 100%.
Does that make sense? Other things to notice is the screen is dark, but, not horribly.
TFS! Would you recommend this toy for ages 2 and under or 2 and older?? Awww…you’re making things harder! LOL I think I may purchase the leap pad?! Unsure…may change again if I see you guys with another? toy! LOL
